CornerHouse officially opened in
October 2003, and has
established itself as a vital
hub for the activity of local
voluntary sector mental health
organisations.
Our website aims to provide a
central online resource of
comprehensive information about, and
links to, all mental health services
in the area. It also aims to become
a portal for all the latest
information, news and resources
relating to local mental health issues.
Our Mission
To facilitate, support and
encourage the provision of
appropriate non-statutory
services related to emotional
well-being. To ensure these
services are diverse and
designed to reach a varied
client base.
CornerHouse is managed by
Woking Mental Health Resource
Centre Limited. It is a local
venue for the provision of
mental health services by a wide
range of non-statutory and
voluntary sector organisations.
CornerHouse actively
encourages and fosters the
creation of voluntary groups. It
assists them in their activities
by providing advice, support and
a place where meetings and
social events can be held.
