Woking CMHT staff in Three Peaks Challenge success
Patrick Guinard, Mark Girvan, Charlotte MacGregor, Ann Wright, Sonia Mourelle and Steven Anderson braved blizzards, fog and wind to raise money for a welfare fund which provides emergency financial support for people with mental illness when in crisis.
Starting at Ben Nevis in Scotland on a Saturday afternoon in blizzard conditions, they then moved on to Scafell Pike in England in the early hours of Sunday and finally reaching Snowdon in Wales by nightfall that Sunday.
Speaking after the event, Patrick Guinard commented: "Sometimes, when people are ill, just surviving can be like climbing the highest mountain too, and we therefore hope our efforts will attract donations, however large or small."
