New Depression Support Worker

CornerHouse have now appointed their new Depression Support Worker.

Judith Sergeant, who starts work in September 2008, will provide practical support to local people with depression. She will help by signposting people to local resources and services, as well as offering access to information on topics such as medication, treatment and service access.

The post is initially funded for two years through sponsorship and donations raised by CornerHouse, but ongoing 'mainstream' funding will be sought from funders to secure the long-term provision of this much needed service.
